SHORT TERM HIRE TURNS INTO LONG TERM SOLUTION
In 2017 FleetCo was engaged by a leading gold mining company in Western Australia to supply a 600t excavator during scheduled long-term maintenance on the client owned machine. The FleetCo unit was to be used as a production machine and ensure the mine stayed at capacity during the initial short term hire period.
As the hire period was finishing, the site identified the need for an extra production digger. As our unit was delivering high availability and in turn production numbers the client requested a further extension to the initial hire. Now over 3 year later the excavator continues to operate.
By providing high-quality maintenance support that has consistently led to greater than 500 hours per month and having commercial flexibility to meet our clients’ requirements, FleetCo has established a working partnership that will continue to flourish over the coming years.
